The atmosphere was nice and it looks pretty welcoming. We did not have to wait to be seated. The waitress was very friendly she came around twice but did not ask us if we wanted extra drinks or if we needed to go plates. We had to ask her for our check as well. Overall, a convenient location for our trip down to the valley.
I tried them once when they first opened and was not impressed. They have improved soooo much over the years. The rice is superb, and I mean superb. It was so good I ate what was served on my plate and ordered a serving to go. I ordered the LA Bonita, the same dished served at at other local Mexican restaurant Los Cucos. I must say, LA Casona gave them a run for their money. It was good. Better even. I will be going back. As usual the drinks were strong...and good!! The service could have been better. Had to remind the server a couple of times for our drinks and some tortillas were left out of one of our plates but it was okay.
Better than your average Mexican restaurant and I love an average Mexican restaurant. Good service. Strong margaritas. Good menu with some uncommon options as well as the standard. Salsa is and guacamole are homemade and the chips are hot. Every plate I tried there during my week long stay was delicious with quality ingredients.
A little tiny bit light on the steak for the jalapeño steak fajitas priced at $22 Literally off by 10 percent, could even have just been this one time Not enough to make me not want to come back, but enough to make me think twice about it Drinks solid Free chips are of higher quality than most Salsa solid Bartender possessed 0 personality but heck I have Facebook for friends Overall excellent experience I would be interested in coming back for sure Update: This is awkward I just got the bill and it was 20.25 for the fajitas Could’ve sworn it was 22$ in the menu I’ll say for $20 they nailed it Thank you
Good place to have a good mexican plate, I recommend the lemonade, i usually stop here when I pass through here, and to my truck driver friends there is a Walmart right behind the restaurant where you can park your truck and enjoy some good Mexican food
